This month we caught up with Move it or Lose it class member Peter who’s 85 and lives in Sutton Coldfield.

Here’s what Peter had to say.

Have you got any hobbies?
I love photography and take my camera wherever I go. I also love watercolour painting.

What’s the most exciting thing you’ve ever done?
Meeting my late wife – at the newsagents of all places. We were happily married for 41 years.

What’s your guilty pleasure?
Sponge cake! I used to be a baker and still like baking cakes. I hope we can start out cuppa and cake after the Move it or Lose it class again soon as everyone loves my cakes.

What advice would you give to your younger self?
Be more positive.

What one piece of advice would you give to the younger generation?
Just get on with it!

What’s your most embarrassing moment?
Walking into the ladies toilets when I was 15 years old – never forgotten it to this day!
